The Colorado Flatland Deer saga continues! Hot on the heels of our mule deer episode, the same crew brings us another podcast from Colorado. However the focus has now shifted, and so have the dynamics. With Sam tagged out, the mission is now to get Mike a whitetail with a bow before the upcoming rifle opener. But the whitetails are few and far between, and that's not the only challenge facing them. The guys recap the 3 days that followed the mule deer hunt, the grind of finding whitetails in this flat country, and what's worse is the most recent variable for which they have little control over; and that's poachers. Never did they think they would be the recipients of hunter harassment during this trip, or that the game warden and sheriff would be involved, but that's what happened. Just when you thought this story couldn't get any crazier, the script writers found a way. We promise you cannot make this stuff up!
