What is it like coming to Texas to hunt whitetails for the very first time? Mark Zorich can give you a pretty good idea! Mark is last year's winner of our Veteran Giveaway Hunt, and joined us in December for a low-fence, free-range whitetail hunt in the Texas panhandle. Mark is a California native, a USAF veteran, and an active duty Sheriff Deputy. He also specializes as a sniper, and runs his own civilian long range shooting academy. Mark reconnects with Sam following his hunt in Texas to reflect on the incredible weekend he spent with our crew. They talk about first impressions hunting whitetails for the very first time, memorable moments from the hunt, and of course the successful high points! Mark also shares his unique method for flying his venison home, along with some of his previous hunting experiences as a California Native.
