From Tyler:

My name is Tyler J. Topping. I am 28 years old and am born and raised from South Florida in Martin County. I currently still reside in Martin County in a town called Palm City. It was here, in this town, that I became fascinated with everything outdoors. I grew up mostly fishing due to my area being a coastal town with very good salt and freshwater fishing all around. I spent my whole childhood fishing locally, whether it was from the bank or from a boat. It wasn’t until I was about 12 or 13 years old that my father started taking me hunting for the first time. I knew after the first time that this was going to be something I would be obsessed with for the rest of my life.

Currently I am a Firefighter/Paramedic at my local fire department for 8 years now. I have been married to my beautiful wife for 3 years now, but we have been together for 13 years. We spend almost all of our off time either in the woods or on the water. Most of my summertime activities are fishing, lobstering, and property management for the upcoming deer season.

I am a huge public land hunter. Where I live, I have 4 public land WMA’s within 30-40 minutes from my doorstep. I spend a lot of time in the hot Florida sun scouting and running trail cameras for the upcoming seasons. I also own a 10-acre parcel and lease 100 acres in Northern Florida that is our primary area of hunting.

I am an avid bowhunter and I take all hunting opportunities that I can. Anything from a squirrel to a whitetail, if it is in season, you can guarantee I will be trying to hunt it. I mostly grew up whitetail hunting and wild hog hunting, however, over the past 5 years I have become a much more avid turkey and waterfowl hunter

I look forward to learning from everyone and hopefully spreading some knowledge of my own to help other people as much as I can. And with any luck, documenting some great hunts and experiences outdoors!
