Gluten Free Pheasant Tender Recipe

Looking for additional ways to use all of that wild game you have in your freezer following a successful season? Not to worry, I’m back again with another idea for putting that wild game to good use! This one is a personal favorite; I love this recipe for the ease of prep and how delicious the final results are. Enjoy!

  • 1 lb. pheasant tenders and thighs cut into small strips
  • 3 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. mustard
  • 1cup finely chopped nuts (pecans) -optional 
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ¼ garlic powder

-Pre-heat oven to 425  

-Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

-Combine honey & mustard 

-Combine pretzels, pecans, and seasonings.

-Coat chicken in honey mustard, then dip/cover in pretzel mix

-Bake for 10 min. flip bake for 10 more min.

-Serve w/honey mustard
